Cloud native tools allow a wide range of different solutions for leveraging company data assets and these are currently in high demand. Our aim is to become a bigger fish in the market and that is why we are looking for you to strengthen our data team.

Strengthening the data teams prowess

We are looking for a software developer who is familiar with Microsoft Azure data tools. Your work will include design and implementation of solutions in various customer projects for different industries. The focus of the role is on the data side, where you have the opportunity to develop deeper in the future. You will take a stand on the architectures that will be implemented over Azure.

In this role you get to work with

  • Backend development
  • Databases, Data structures & Interfaces
  • Information; The most important skill is to know how information is processed and how it can be utilized in the best way possible

You get to work as part of a software development team assembled for the needs of the tailored customer project. Our development teams consist a variety of roles, you get to work extensively with experts from other fields such as Service Designers, UI / UX Designers, Data Scientists & Analysts, other application developers and sysadmins.

What are the ingredient of success in this role?

We expect you to have knowledge of the following software and concepts. However, we do not expect you to know everything already.

  • Modular software development, micro service architecture, serverless
  • APIs, API management and RESTful web services & JSON
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL strains (eg. MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL
  • ETL / ELT, DW, Data Lakes
  • Java, Python, Javascript

Knowledge of software development, data tools and services on Azure, eg. RDS, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, CosmosDB, Event / IoT Hub, API management, Functions.

Finnish language skill is a big advantage. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorships for candidates outside EU/EEA area at the moment.
