Part of Helsinki Data Week 2026

As AI becomes part of everyday work, organizations face a new challenge: how do we give AI access to the information, context, and organizational knowledge it needs to operate effectively?

Join Ambientia during Helsinki Data Week for a thought-provoking morning session exploring the shift from data platforms to context platforms and the implications for technology, governance, and the future of knowledge work.

About the Session

Most organizations can access AI models. The real challenge is enabling those models to understand the organization they operate in.

Data alone is not enough. AI increasingly needs access to documentation, business definitions, metadata, systems, processes, organizational knowledge, and governance structures. Together, these form the context that allows AI to work effectively alongside people.

In this session, we'll explore what happens when AI becomes a participant in organizational work and how companies can create trusted environments where humans and AI operate using the same shared context.

The discussion will connect business and technology perspectives, examining how data, architecture, knowledge management, governance, and organizational culture need to evolve as AI adoption accelerates.

Topics We Will Explore

What does AI need to know to work effectively inside an enterprise?

What information, rules, and context enable AI to contribute meaningfully to everyday work?

From data to context

How do data, documentation, semantics, metadata, and business rules become usable context for AI?

Governance in the age of AI

How should access rights, governance models, and organizational boundaries work when AI can interact with enterprise information?

Prompting as a new way of working

What changes when prompting becomes a routine part of knowledge work rather than a specialized AI activity?

Structure, ambiguity, and organizational readiness

Where should organizations standardize and structure information, and where can AI help manage complexity and ambiguity?

Technology or culture?

Is this ultimately a technology challenge, or increasingly a question of organizational design, collaboration, and ways of working?

Who Should Attend?

This session is intended for anyone interested in understanding how AI is changing organizations and knowledge work.

Whether you work in data, analytics, AI, enterprise architecture, information management, business development, or digital transformation, the session will provide practical perspectives on how organizations can prepare for the next phase of AI adoption.

You do not need a deep technical background to participate.
